Hot water
pressure washers must have water flowing through the coil before
the burner will fire. This is for obvious safety
reasons. A few hundred thousand BTU's, or more, will heat
the small amount of water in the coil very quickly and cause a
dangerous situation. When the burner fires, always make sure
water is flowing through the coil. When
you pull the trigger on the gun a flow switch or pressure switch
activates the burner.
